Andrea Alvarez Campos has been licensed to practice law in Mexico since 2017. Her practice is focused on advising and representing clients on a variety of matters related to labor and employment.

Ms. Alvarez began her professional practice in the area of labor law in a firm recognized for providing top quality legal advice and exclusive representation to major companies known nationwide. 

She effectively assists clients in the preparation and negotiation of documents such as internal shop rules, employee handbooks, personnel policies, benefit plans, employment contracts and severance agreements. Ms. Alvarez also conducts seminars on emerging labor and employment law issues to employers.

Ms. Alvarez has worked on a wide range of labor and employment cases, including, preparation of individual employment agreements, labor contracts, collective bargaining agreements, establishment of overall policies and internal shop rules, termination notices, settlement agreements, employer substitution procedures,  and all kinds of employment, administrative and labor litigation including representation of employers before the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards and  litigation and amparo (constitutional challenge) proceedings derived from labor and employment lawsuits.

  • Acted as legal counsel for one of the biggest snack and food producers in Mexico during all stages of multiple labor and employment procedures, including settlements and negotiations with employees and unions, coordination and execution of strategies directed at the company’s labor and employment compliance and handled numerous successful litigations.
  • Advised and represented a major telecommunications company in Mexico during all types of litigation related to employment practices.
  • Advised and represented numerous public and private companies in labor and employment matters, such as calculation, negotiation and execution of settlements, pretrial agreements, attending summons issued by labor authorities and conduct conciliatory talks with workers.
  • Prepared motions, petitions, claims and answers, as well as provided successful legal representation during all stages of the labor trial to public and private companies in all industrial sectors, including retail, manufacturing, services, aerospace and food production, among many others.
